Artist's Comments

This series was a play with my pills. Because I have so many changes to my medication and often, I have lots of old, leftover pills. I am not a drug addict, all the pills used were perfectly legal. It was fun to play with because I wanted to portray the idea that we take medication like candy these days (I know I am one of them.) I decided to play around with a few ideas- not just the taking of the pills, but the idea of them as a new form of alcohol, the common choice of drugs (other than caffeine.) I don't usually do ideas behind it photography, but this one was fun. It was also fun to destroy my pills lol. Please comment and enjoy!

lol. sometimes its feels like I'm eating them. But no your not meant to chew pills... you'd be like homer Simpson on that episode where he makes taffy with Bart's concentration medication and it makes him do the crazy dance...lol im not a Simpson's nerd, that episode just happened to be on tv tonight lol
